SOLUTIONS • EC360 is ready to solve any marketing challenge – large or small
Whether you’re a fortune 500 company or a midsized organization, you can be assured that EC 360 will exceed your expectations, every time. The following are a few various marketing solutions outlining the challenges and solutions…
Presenting Space City to the International Press
Challenge: 7,000 international reporters were headquartered at the George R. Brown Convention Center when Houston hosted the G7 Economic Summit. It was a great opportunity to highlight Space City on a global stage, but most guests wouldn’t have a chance to get out and explore.
Solution: The Houston Summit Host Committee commissioned Emagine Creative to design, and oversee the production of an immersive experience – an exhibition, SITES OF HOUSTON, commanding the entire second level of the George R. Brown Convention Center, that would introduce visitors to some of Houston’s most important institutions. The exhibition gave reporters a taste of what it would be like to visit Johnson Space Center, the Medical Center, Port of Houston, and more. Sites’ overview
New Marketing Campaign
Challenge: Ryder Scott, a well-established petroleum reserves evaluator and certifier, needed to update its creative and messaging with a new campaign theme: Numbers to count on. Experts to trust.
Solution: We worked with Mike Wysatta, Public Relations manager, to refresh the look and feel of Ryder Scott’s brand while honoring their long and successful legacy. We implemented the theme in their brochures, exhibits, advertisements, conference materials, and on the company’s website.
Brochure and Tradeshow Exhibit
Challenge: When 2020 Exhibits and NuTech Energy Alliance, a leader in reservoir intelligence, were looking for an agency that could help people understand their more abstract offerings and create digestible presentations for their complex, analytical services and products, Emagine stepped up.
Solution: The Emagine Creative team designed and illustrated a brochure with a center spread that unfolded to showcase the company’s products and software – displaying the “before, during and after – drilling” and it’s impact on a single well or field of wells. The dramatic main spread also served as a compelling trade show exhibit.
Winning an Ad Agency a New Client
Challenge: Wright Marketing’s creative director, Don Francis, commissioned our group to develop a design concept and presentation to “win” the Baker International account’s drilling equipment & software business.
Solution: We employed our design and illustration skills, as seen in the top two renderings, in capturing a couple of field/drilling situations, symbolizing the “Team” aspect of their many technical capabilities, and highlighting the “BAKER NOW” theme. The account was won and we were privileged to produce their brochure and three ads seen below, one of which also required an illustration from our studio.
Spokesperson for the Industry
Challenge: Ryder Scott’s well-established newsletter, Reservoir Solutions, needed a more contemporary, dynamic look and layout while leveraging its reputation as an industry authority.
Solution: Emagine Creative, in collaboration with Ryder Scott’s Public Relations Manager Mike Wysatta, delivered a series of eye-catching newsletter designs that helped the company get more attention for their achievements, widely share their expertise in articles, and garner responses from industry and legislative professionals. The newsletter’s impact is consummately articulated in Mike Wysatta’s retirement issue: ResSolu-1st•QTR-2022
Developing Collateral for 4 Divisions
Challenge: Baroid Corporation needed to update their dated collateral and presentation, which had served them well over the decades, but needed a fresh and more dynamic look and feel to resonate in the market.
Solution: Emagine Creative was up to the challenge, developing a diverse spectrum of dynamic “brand” images for their services and products brochures, as well as annual reports for both Baroid Corporation and NL Industries. We also produced their award-winning newsletter, the BNB, and a book highlighting the company’s history.
Making Mud Exciting
Challenge: The Baroid Drilling Fluids division of Baroid corporation was launching a new drilling mud, Polynox, and needed a brochure and ad to inform the industry about its rollout. The question Baroid posed to Emagine Creative was: how do you make a drilling mud exciting?
Solution: Emagine Creative responded with a powerful concept that announced Polynox’s arrival as it exploded out of a strong wall of mud!
International Diplomacy in a Brochure
Challenge: Phillips Petroleum Company needed help developing a marketing brochure to launch a new process called PROVESTEEN, through which high-quality protein could be produced at low costs to supplement the food supplies of developing countries.
Solution: Emagine Creative created a brochure design that highlighted the process and its potential impact through a series of illustrations. The inclusion of images representing cultural and historic scenes from the cultures they hoped to benefit was key to the design concept. Emagine Creative also designed Provesteen’s logo.
Marketing Via Brochure and Advertising
Challenge: Craig Koopersmith, the Marketing Director for SPERRY-SUN Drilling Services requested of Emagine Creative to develop several dynamic marketing tools, a brochure and two compelling advertisements – and we delivered.
Solution: In addition to delivering these marketing tools, Ralph years later, was involved as a Creative Director in delivering tradeshow creative – again, in the service to Craig Koopersmith, who is now the CEO of both Skyline Exhibits and Innovative Environments and is spearheading them to greater heights!
Illustration: the Copyright Solution
Challenge: In working with Phillips Petroleum Company to identify ways to showcase their Advanced Thermoplastic Composites, we needed to portray the different types of aircraft utilizing the composites, but we couldn’t use copyrighted images.
Solution: Emagine Creative designed the brochure, created custom illustrations of various aircrafts that fit perfectly into the piece and gave the company its own graphics for other uses. EC also designed the company’s new logo.
